"Just hope and pray" nga dli ka ma tungnan ug problemado na sakyanan.. even mechanics cant give accurate diagnostics on the true condition of an engine... bsan maau pana mo andar nya walay signs of leaks and worn out parts chances are the seller did a good clean up and temporary repair...
things lng jud to check are: if dali raba pa andaron ang makina, its a good primary indicator; if walay smoke kng gasoline and a very light/no smoke at all for diesel engine..walay oil leaks sa engine,take a good look sa ilawm nga parts sa engine...try ug step sa gasolinador, make it rev-up nya paminawa ug dli ba mo lag/ma-awahi ang rection sa engine... if dago ug lag chances are dli condition
ang engine.. listen to the sound of the engine, if daghan gani unnecessary knocks and noise,,bad indication ghapon na.. bantayi sd if dli ba mg fluctuate ang andar sa engine during idle...

Do the following for Engine.
1. Compression test on all cylinder. See manual for specific compression per cylinder.
2. Check Oil Leak.
3. Turn On Engine and remover one battery terminal. Note: engine must not turn off to confirm alternator is working fine.
4. Open radiator and see if water flows to confirm water pump is good.
5. Check it you hear knocking noise on engine.
6. Check for service lights.
7. Have someone to check your ECU by using On Board Diagnostic. Let him freeze data and confirm data to specs.
