As disgustingly callous as this statement is, there was a Filipino on board the US ship named Carlos Victor Ganzon Sibayan. Filipinos and those with Filipino heritage make up a large part of the US Navy as well as the world's merchant fleet.

Kun magkabangga ang isda ug luwag, how much more barko ug barko....

Despite sa technology karon, GPS, Radar, torpedo, gopro, dili gyud nato ma eliminate kanang collision, samot na kun magdanghag.

as per link below and quote:
Marine tracking data showed the Crystal steaming west toward Tokyo, but shortly after 1:30 a.m. it performed a sudden U-turn and returned to where it had been.

nevertheless, the CO of USS Fitzegerald will be charged of manslaughter and both captains may never be able to sail again.

There have been around 30 boat crashes in the area over the past decade, including a 2013 incident in which six Japanese crew members died after their cargo ship crashed with another vessel in the early morning hours, a coastguard spokesman said, as cited by AFP.

30 in ten years. what could be the common denominator for these crashes ......

made a u-turn para i check unsa ilang nabanggaan.

Got a link for this? I checked another article and its looked like the ACX collided with the USS FItzgerald after it performed a rapid U-turn at speed to head back to Tokyo.
