Job Description:
- Provide maintenance and bug fixing to existing packages.
- Tune and create appropriate indexes to enhance performance of existing packages.
- Write Web access front-ends ( using ASP.net, MVC framework ) to some of the packages to allow users access to certain data from the database. Example is e-services for Human Resources package to allow employees to request vacations or salary increases directly from a browser based interface which communicates with the database whether online or offline.
- Write appropriate utilities to ease the upload of customer data when installing the packages first time.
- Write new applications as per specification.
- Use Powerbuilder 12.6 for all development.
- Use SQL Server as the backend DB for all applications.
Salary: Salary is decided as per the candidates experience and merits. Other benefits include : furnished accommodation or Housing allowance, Medical coverage, paid annual vacation, family status provided.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education: (UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Computers, B.Sc - Computers, BCA - Computers)
Candidate must have at least 5 years experience in Powerbuilder and SQL Server. Must be proficient in PFC. Must have developed business applications.
Previous experience in the development of Accounting, Manufacturing, Human Resources and Point of Sale packages is preferable.
