If we dont know how the universe exist, is it rational to resort to a god/religion ?

no, i am not claiming that atheism is false, as much as i don't claim atheism to be true either. i am an atheist simply because i do not believe in any deity.

Sa akong pagsabot sir, ang atheist nga point of view nag claim nga walay Ginoo. Pero naa pud uban mu-ingun nga actually kung ang isa ka tao atheist it simply means nga wala kay belief sa usa ka Ginoo. Unsa imo pag-define sa atheism, sir?

Sa first nga definition sa atheism, it seems nga nag-claim ang usa ka atheist nga "I believe God does not exist." Kana nga statement can either be true or false. If dili na true nor false, unsa man diay na siya nga statement, neutral or meaningless?

Sa ika-duha nga definition, it seems nga ang claim kay, "I have no belief in any God." Kana pud nga statement can either be true or false. It's either true that you have no belief in any God, or it is false that you have any belief in any God. So ang duha ka statements about atheism above have a truth value. But please correct me if I'm wrong.

we do not claim to know the absolute truth like Christians do when they claim to worship the one and only "true" GOD. that is a quick, dangerous concept to assume there is God---and that you are willing to devote much of your life to stand by your belief. isn't it such a waste of TIME and RESOURCES?

Why would it be a waste of time to believe in a God? I think ang question nga kung nag-exist ba ang Ginoo o wala is one of the most important questions, if not the most important question, we can ask in our life, kay kung tinuod nga naay Ginoo, well, that reorients everything in our life. So I think dili ka ka-blame sa isa ka tawo nga mutuo og Ginoo kung i-devote niya iya time og resources to get to know more about this God and to share them with others.

why do you brand atheism as either true or false? atheism is unbelief. there is no such thing as true or false. i have this question for you---can you give me a reason WHY i should believe there is a GOD? don't give me answers like: "because everybody does!"

they go hand in hand. the coined term "intelligent design" is just a desperate way for young-earth creationists to make their ideals sound more "scientific". but really, there is no difference.

Oh, I think naa dako nga difference between creationism (especially young earth creationism) with intelligent design. Ang ID og ang Darwinism walay dispute with regard sa "descent with modification" nga aspect sa evolution. Ang ila gi-dispute kay ang evolutionary history og kung unsa nga mechanism ang responsable sa evolution, random genetic mutation og natural selection ba o usa ka intelligent cause sa universe.
