This is just my opinion. If you really care and are passionate about mastering a subject like computer science or a computer language, then you'd do much better picking up a good book and spending time practicing on your computer. Even if this requires more discipline, the skill you develop in this way is more permanent and fulfilling. I know a lot of people who've taken this route and have turned out to be better programmers than those who pay hefty tuitions and listening to teachers who probably were hired for business purposes rather than for their reputation and ability to teach.
