notepad++ lang sa para ma hasa sa core/ dili mag salig sa auto/intelisense. then start on exploring other ide/editors preferebly kanang mga open source lang sa.

I prefer to use sublime 2 than notepad++.

submlime text 2? never heard..

google will solve your problem. sublime text 2 is almost like notepad++ but better UI.

to have a solid foundation sa web dev and not too dependent sa tools, Use Notepad++ ayaw padala anang dreamweaver kay lisud ug maanad ka ana daghan nako developer gibalibaran pag apply diri kay dili kabalo mo gamit ug notepad++, start using XAMPP if you are brave enough you could practice doing LAMP

when you are already setup, try practicing the most common sa PHP nga functions...

alternative to dreamweaver is KomodoEdit sa Activestate and its 100% free unya multiplatform siya windows/mac/linux

much better if notepad++ like you said to have a solid foundation on web dev pra ma anad ba og coding dli ma anad og copy paste haha

notepad++ is similar to sublime but better UI haha and a lot of functionalities and you can do core coding too

uga naa toy usa sa Mac nga nindto pero hassle lang...

uga naa toy usa sa Mac nga nindto pero hassle lang...

if kaya sa imo machine suwayi eclipse PDT (php) bug-at siya like sa netbeans,
on the other hand daghan siya makit-an na add-ons online kay mao man ni ang gigamit na IDE for java which is mature na
and opensource ni

and if mag dev ka ug android dali ra ka switch open lang ka ug laing worspace

Sa J2EE ako gamit kay Eclipse ug sa Android. Tanan nako web apps sa Linux (RedHat/Debian distro) na ko gibuhat then wala ko nagsalig ug XAMMP, terminal ako gamit sa MySQL database, manually configured nako ang PHP ug Apache2/Tomcat.

Modagan ang Dreamweaver sa Linux with kunting tweak sa dll.

eclipse PDT... hmmm.... i remember mao na gamit sa akoa kauban sa una.. la ko try ana... it has its pros and cons... i find eclipse complicated if bag-o paka while ang komodo is very familiar kay ang iyaha style mura ug frontpage... and also eclipse kinahanglan pag extension para magamit sa XUL application while komodo natively support...

either way depende rajud sa imo needs... never listen to what other say until you try it...

i find dreamweaver for RAD type development suitable and komodoedit for my XUL programming...

ahh ok bago pa to kato na download nako sublime karon kay dghan nmn sd user guro mao guro paliton nah.

@chris - ok ra mn ang sublime ang imo ra mn ang pgadjust. sauna kay mag netbeans (bug.at) ko pro dmd mn sahay mo lag kay naa pako e open nga photoshop for slicing, nia dghan pang browsers mag open for cross-browsing.
