Atheism is a denial of the existence of God but it does not necessarily mean that God doesn't exist for them... it is just that they do not find a connection of a Being whenever they do things....

and correction...religion is not merely believing.... as what my professor in Philosophy of religion said to me....Religion is a way of life...That is religion... Buddhist doesn't have a God, they just have an exemplar which they call Buddha.....they follow the good things what Buddha has done when he was still alive. Religion is a matter of what you believe and how you act...

assuming there is God, what could be a good reason why God chose not to play an active role in those evil acts? he is supposed to be powerful, all-knowing, omniscient, etc. assuming he's a LOVING God like what he claims to be, what could be a good reason why he just leaves his kids to get murdered by his other kids in a horrific way?
