I think anywhere in the world, we can work as long as we are determined on that particular work. If you think working in Saudi is the best you can give to yourself and to your family, so go for it. What's important is that you're working because you want to progress and more importantly, you're working in order for you to live and the rest of your family can benefit of your hardwork. To every family-man, I think the more you love your family, the more you will strive harder no matter what.....

lisod kaayo ang walay trabaho rong panahona labi na ug de-pamilya na ka. that's why you need to settle whatever opportunity that comes from you. lisod kaayo magsige lang ug salig sa uban. so better yet, strive your own coz it's for you and for your family's benefit. Afterall, who knows in the future kung daghan na ka matigom and maasenso na ka sa imo kinabuhi, you will not anymore work for money but money will work for you na.

...i think the word "loser" is not appropriate to call our fellow pinoys who are working there! they have their own reasons & dreams why they choose to work there...i do not believe that pinoys who preferred to be there didnt even had good jobs here!mas gusto lang gani clag mas dako mao muadto cla just like wat optimusprime said...kay tnuod dili ta makatigom ug dako2x ug naa ra dire sa pinas tungod sa mga gastuhan ug uban pa, im not saying way gastuhan ug naa sa abroad pro akong point is ma-contain ang mga miscellaneous expenses mao makatigum jud...ako, im earning good here sa pinas & still single pa but i still want to work abroad particularly sa construction area..y? coz still i have my own reasons! so, might as well respect our reasons rather than calling us losers!

Let us say successful ka dha and you are earning a lot. Sa imung geingon family man ka. So ge sacrifice nmu ang imu kaugalingon pra sa future sa imu family dri sa pinas correct? u think u will be giving them a good future in the long run nga mag depend sa imu tungod sa ka DAKO sa imu ge earn dha. You may be able to provide them materialy but ge huna2x nmu kn maunsa imu anak kn pamilyado mn kaha ka nga walay amahan nga makagiya sa elang pagdako. Why not admit it?
More so 2-3 years rka dha? Asa mn ka nig human? mubalik nsd ka dha? or manarbaho ka dri? Mubalik nsd ka ky DAKO lge kaha ug pay dha. So either luoy ang mahabilin nmu nga mga hinigugma dri or hayahay nga mag gusto sa iimu gehaguan.
Bro, this is not to hurt you but to let you be aware.
    Peace

brod, kasabot ko sa imo punto pero ang imo giingon na loser ang nanabraho sa gawas, HILAS ra sad kaayo paminawon. dili lalim ang pag-trabaho sa gawas bai! just also to let you be aware, dili ing-ana kadaghan ang trabaho dre sa pinas, cguro na-swertehan ka kay dato cguro imo mama ug papa. Ang ato nasod wala na kaayo tarong trabaho na mahatag kay if naa pa ngano gud mang-larga. if imo na pangutan-on ang mga OFW kung ganhan ba cla didto if naa lang tarong trabaho dre kay mo-ingon jud na na mouli cla.

I would say na isog ang mga mo-larga kay it takes courage to enter a foreign land para lang maka-provide ka sa imo pamilya. Yes, ma-biyaan nimo ang imo mga hinigugma but unsaon man sad nimo if naa ka kuyog sa imo hinigugma unya wala na ka sakto pondo para inyo consumo?

I know you are just expressing your opinion but I hope na dili sad ka magpataka ug tawag ug loser sa mga tao especially if wa pa ka kaagi sa ila naagi-an. HILAS ra jud kaayo paminawon... PEACE..

Weren't you the one opening this topic? You should be open to opinions bro. Which i think this is all about.
Dli ko anak ug datu brod, dli sd ingon ana kadako ako sweldo as u think.

Or bsin dli lng ka mubasa.
Mutan-aw ka ug news? Or basin magpa buta2x ug magpa bungol2x lng ka.
OFW harassed and abused! or either dead! or maybe convicted sa dli elang sala.

Or basin dli lng sd ka ganahan ug violence. Ako eka suggest, try seeing classified ads naa ka daghan makit-an diha
If you have the brains, personality and attitudemaka trabaho jd ka ug arang2x dri.

Hinuon proud sd ko sa mga pinoy nga ni take sa risk eg. life, malayo sa pamilya, pagkatawo nga yatak yatakan ug uban pa.
Makalagot lng huna hunaon brod nga uban or kasagaran sa atong kababayan wala ge tratar ug tarong ngadto.
Sorry for generalizing the term losers ky sa ako nakita kadagdanan mn gd dli lng cguro tanan.
    Peace!

I agree with optimusprime, I had work in Cebu for 10 years as Graphic Designer and nothing happens to me interms of financial…and the salary that I been getting was not enough for the needs of my family… now i’m working here in Grand Cayman for 5 months already and we’re almost paid all our debts, hopefully by next year will be able to save and after my 3rd year, I’ll be back home to start a business.

Its not worth it I would say.
I think that's the reality.
