i think what you are referring is the LCD screen of your laptop.
there is no such thing as a monitor for your laptop.

steps to do.
try external monitor connected to your laptop, if issue could not be seen on the external monitor then the issue is with your lcd screen / lcd flex cable / lcd inverter

Replace lng ug LCD TS, Naka sugat nko ana ug ang sulbad palit ug LCD new.
