As years pass by or maybe a century has gone...the philippines is still the philippines 100 years ago....

for u peepz......what are ur suggestions to solve the sinking economy of the philippines...or maybe post any comments about the performance of our economy...... I may not say that u are all economic proffesionals dealing with this non sense thread....but we live in this country..so we have the right to say suggestions that wud make our country more interesting to live with....

one fact why Japan is rich today... ambot lang kung tinood ni... pero naay nag sulti nako sauna mga 1999-2000 nga people are working more than 8 hours a day.. walay labot sa overtime.
dili pareha dire nga bisan 8 hours lang ang work, kapuyan na unya mo complain pa jud if molapas 15 minutes. dili kahulat mogawas.

makaya man ni nato ba... working more than 8 hours para lang sa ato kaugalingon og para sad sa ato country.

usa rani ha... ambot unsa pay lain contribution sa mga tao sa japan...

That's another minus with the country....ang problmena man gud nato la ta kaaju disiplina sa atong kaugalingon maong makaingoana ta....may pa lagi naa pa ang balaod nga MARTIAL LAW para disiplina tanang tawo....diba?

- change the whole government.
- tranparency in the government. (kong poydi presscon taga month para ipa kita ilang gi buhat or plano)

obvious man kaau atong problem its in the government and politics.

mao batong ang presidente naninguha nga mahimong parliament ang atong gobyerno....

and i believe that this type of governement wud solve our problems..

As of now, tabangay unta ta tanan instead of damayay pareha sa gipang buhat sa mga opposition groups karon. Sila raman ang nag samok2x sa economy nato ron.

Agree ko sa pag change to a federalism nga government so that every province has an opportunity to stand on its own and make decisions by themselves. Dili na sila magsalig sa manila. Bahala na if modako ang tax gamay, at least dili mamonopolize sa manila ang money sa pipol from the provinces. Kay as of now, nanambok raman ang manila because of the taxes.

If ma push through ang feneralism, each province maka help sila sa ilang selves, then maka help sila sa other provinces, then help our country. More or less nagtabangay lang gihapon ta for the better of the country.

Another way tingali is we invest in research & development especially in agricultural products kay mao man 1 of our resources sa Philippines. If maka figure ta ug way nga mo paspas ug grow ang mga pagkaon diri, esp mga exported goods, then makatabang gyud sa economy. That's all I wanted to say.

im all for Federalism, if i understand it right (considering my pea brain), if a province will be to a some degree independent from one another, especially independent sa manila. Currently, Cebu daw is the fastest growing economy in the country, so if that trend continues, Cebu stands on its own independent from the rest, and will be a more progressive city than we have today. Best case ma himu ta murag Singapore hehe
