    Default Home Theater gadgets thread

ive been searching this site for home theater installations and info with very few relevant post found.
i thought we could start one to help more istoryans

ive been looking for a bang for the buck home theater setup for my new place.
ive been thinking of getting samsung LA-40B530 at under 70k do you guyz think its a good buy?
what HT can you suggest? HT-X715 or HT-TZ315? any other suggestions? pros and cons would be greatly appreciated.

HT PC or Media Box? if media box what can you recommend...havent seen any that plays everything.
something that doesnt require me to rename anything (hate those that only read up to 15char filenames)

also do you recommend having a relaxing couch made or bought off a store? can you make suggestions with this regard as well...tnx!

Well just my 2 cents, there is not much difference between LED LCD and ordinary LCD in terms of playback, and as of the moment cost of LED LCD tends to be a bit expensive. However, if your viewing your tv at certain angles, LED LCD's are great because of its good light balance distribution. But honestly, in most cases we watch TV face to face not at an angle.

Currently I have an LG4230 LCD TV and Philips HTS-3565 Home Theater System. Both are entry level appliances, however, they do great things for a weekend movie shootfest or some HD TV Series marathons... Wish I have the Chuck Season 3 already..

I beg to differ, the color depiction on LED TVs are more vibrant also, they save more electricity that LCD's.

As I have heard, you can negotiate the prices pa and dili na dako ug difference from LCDs.

Well, this is just my opinion and I don't own a LED tv but two LCD tvs also But given the option, I would replace my LCDs with LED if I had the money to burn
