for some of us who has already bought this setup has nothing to worry about.. well, not much. well, anyways afaik our rig still looks good with a bit of 20% performance increase base on this article from THG. well, for those who are planning on upgrading their rig, this article might be helpfull. http://www.tgdaily.com/2005/06/22/sli_stands_for_silly/

At the press briefing, Nvidia posted a slide with its results that showed many games would get at least a 20% increase in performance when the 7800 dual SLI solution was compared to the 6800 Ultra SLI set.

Two 7800GTX is worth buying rather than compromising it with extremely expensive processors like the FX-60 or Intel 995.

yes i agree also. but july is comming near. july=launch of the 8xxx series DX10 of Nvidia's new card.. new feature napud na wala sa 7xxx series ..

pero gi compare ang v-card na sli nga 7800 gtx and ordinary na 6800, ils fps is not significantly dif when in 1024x720 which in most cases is the default diri, pero when in 1600x1200 thats where it kick in, sa half life 2 ang sli kay 111fps and d 6800 was 67 fps. ang 1600x1200 is the settings usually sa mga 30+inch lcd displays which kitang mga bisdak wa kaayo kay mahal, so id rather buy 15k 6800 den a 40k+ sli
