I am building a new site related to development in different programming languages.

The website has a forum, a filebase, a PM system, a live chat and much more.

The forum and filebase is related to all major programming languages like Delphi, C/C++, Basic, Assembler, PHP, CGI, ASP, Database programming etc.

The website is running now and need of course support.
If you come from the programming scene, just register and help to build the Cebu Developer Community.

Everything will be completely free! User can exchange information, source codes, components and can help each other in programming related problems.

During my long years of experience in programming, I know very well how importent it can be to find fast the right information. I did not find any website in Cebu related to this theme, so I decided to register a domain and build the site.

At this state, the site need support in form of users, information/source codes etc. and ideas how to make it better.

Just take a look at http://www.developernet.biz and if you are willing to help to build the community, just register there.

Member will have a free pop3/smtp/webmail email address like "user_name@developernet.biz".

I am willing to share my over 20 years experience in all major programming languages with you, if you are also willing to share.

Just one little comment. A "community" built around commercial goals will NEVER turn out well. A community that doesn't have a foundation of dedicated developers will go nowhere. A community should NEVER be a closed community. People should never be forced to register to read the forums ... my 2 cents.

It is not commercial and it has no commercial goals or however you call it. I dont need any income from that site. I spend my money to dedicate dsl line, computer and my time for it. And, btw., you can read the forum without register...

It's not commercial? I will disregard the fact that it's a .biz then. Looks like you just changed forum permissions. Just a few minutes ago I was required to register. Maybe you'd do the same for the downloads too.

Why .biz? Very easy, ITS CHEAP, $4.95/year, thats the ONLY reason. I had before a .ph, but I was not willing to pay any loger the overpriced domainname.

I was creating categories, thats why the forum was locked. Categories are now created. ALL, also the downloads, are open to everybody.

Supporting user will get a free "you_username@developernet.biz" email, pop3/webmail, 2MB, no daily limit, visus scan, spam protection, smtp authentication etc.
