Why no Philippine team for FIFA World CUP?

Come on guys, i know we can be good at this sport. Even better than Basketball.

Is it because of basketball, wherein we think we could have a player in the NBA even though the game is about height?

Wala jud. Since football is the world's most popular sport only Bhutan, Brunei, Laos, and the Philippines haven't qualified to this sport.
We haven't even entered or qualified since 1930.

well i believe we can excel way more in football than in basketball.

I even noticed that we are getting black people to play in PBA just because we are lacking on height.

most filipinos think and dream that "someday" a pinoy will be in NBA. Hell no.

football is not popular sport here in our country. wala grass roots programs unlike european and south american countries na 3 yrs old pa lang kamao na manuwag ug football.

also most pinoys who dont understand football says its a boring sport cause tagsa ra daw ang goals
which i disagree gyud. if maka understand lang ug mka try ug duwa mka realize gyud na unsa ka precious ang usa ka goal. sa pag set up ug attacks until pag beat sa depensa.

sakto gyud no government support, asa ragud ang mga football fields dnhe? mostly are private owned.

i think dumaguete, bacolod or iloilo rako kita ug public football fiedls na ang mga players mag tapok2x lang inig hapon. no need for a team basta maka 11on11 duwa na. murag sa atoa dre nga mag tapok sa basketan ug maka 5on5 duwa na.

disagree jud ko nimu ani bai, football is less tiresome than basketball, coz a football team is divided into attacking and defensive players. although mu help ug defense ang attacking players and mu help sa offense ang defensive players pero players concentrate on their respective positions mao na lesser rajud ang kapoy.

do you think kung pareha sa basket na saka ug kanaog ang players, mu attacke tanan ug mu depensa tanan mu last sila ug 90 minutes without substitution? patay! hehe

bitaw. sauna when I was in high school sa bohol, i used to play football. yeah magtapok-tapuk jud sa hapon.

by the way, naa man mga public football fields, labi na sa mga public high schools.


pero para nako, mao wa tay team sa FIFA maybe because wa pa kadesign ug ipanikas ang team pinoy. just like little league sauna.
