Changing hard drives in a mac

Hi guys and gals,

I'm want to change the hard drive in my macbook and got some questions.

1. Is there a software like Norton Ghost for the mac?

2. Can I make a startup disc like windows which I can use to format the new drive and install the os?

3. Any tips on how to migrate my system and data to the new drive?
