I would like to connect to from my home PC to my office desktop via VPN (so I can use the printers in the office), and I hope someone can answer my question regarding this.
My office desktop is connected to the office network; the network server runs Windows 98 SE, and also runs Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to allow the other PCs in the network to connect to the internet.
Also, my home pc is also connected to my home network. My home pc acts as the network server and also runs ICS so the other pc can connect to the internet.
My question is, can I connect from my home PC to my office desktop via VPN, given that (a) both are using ICS to connect to the internet; and (b) both networks use the same DNS settings, etc.?
Thanks in advance for your input.
